Saints

This is the first work from the series “Saints”.

Redefining what nature means through exploring the connections between women and environment.
The female figure comes from the Italian porn magazines of the ’60s and ’70s. Where most of the time, women are being objectified and degraded. In order to give back power to these women, their images were reprinted on a background of a plain, round halo (typically used to signify Saints).
